About
I'm a historian of twentieth century latin America with a special interest in Mexico, Cuba and Central America, and in agrarian and labor history and the history of transnational social, radical and revolutionary movements in the Greater Circum- Caribbean. I also am currently researching in the area of the history of tourism and leisure in Mexico.
In addition to my UC Berkeley and La Trobe links, I am involved with both the Australian National Center of Latin American Studies at the ANU in Canberra, and with the Institute of Social research of Swinburne University
